  Do you accept insurance?

I currently accept Humana, Tricare, PHCS, Medicare and Traditional Medicaid.   I am also an out of network provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield Cigna and other insurance companies.  If you have a different insurance plan they still may cover a portion of out of network provider fees. Call your insurance company to verify what their coverage includes.  I will be happy to provide you with the information that you may need to file with your insurance company.

What are your counseling fees?

 50 Min Counseling Sessions $100
80 Min Group Sessions $45 per group         
Sliding Scale offered for those who qualify
 
What's the difference between counseling and coaching?
A coaching client is not seeking emotional healing or relief from psychological pain.  Coaching is more focused on setting specific goals and taking action to develop and enhance an aspect of a person's life.  These areas can include personal development and peak performance.  The coach and client work together to create the focus needed to attain the desired outcome.  It focuses primarily on the present and future.  Coaching does not focus on past trauma or emotional blocks that are preventing progress.  If an individual needs healing in these areas, it is necessary for them to seek professional counseling prior to the coaching for optimal results.  Coaching is a good resource for those who prefer telephonic sessions due to travel, scheduling conflicts, etc.

       


  What do you mean by Diverse Populations?

There are times when one may feel misunderstood because of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, country of origin, spiritual beliefs, or any other "diverse" aspect of their life.  There are unique struggles that sometimes arise due to feeling different than and apart from.

  I feel strongly that diversity needs to be affirmed and celebrated.
